When I was in the process of paying off my student loans one of the things that I looked at was finding ways to reduce my monthly expenses. At the time, my husband and I were paying over $100 per month for our cell phone bill, which did not even include unlimited talk or text.
All of their plans include unlimited talk and text and there are no monthly contracts. The difference between each plan is the amount of cell data that you can choose from which ranges from where you can buy data as needed to 3GB depending on the plan.
Here’s the best part– with Republic Wireless you can get paid back in credit towards the next month’s bill for any unused cellular data that you have leftover for the month. Since Republic Wireless can run on either a WiFi or cellular network whenever you are at home or near WiFi just connect your phone to an available WiFi network, which will help you, use less cellular data and increase your pay back credit.
The newest phones that Republic Wireless uses are the Moto G and Moto E, both of which are smartphones. Both phones will primarily use the available WiFi that is around and if there is not WiFi in the area, the phones will automatically pass over to the cellular network.
The one downside with Republic Wireless is that you have to purchase your phone upfront and you are limited to the phones that are offered by them.
Even with the initial upfront cost, though, for me switching cell phone providers has saved me more in the long run on my cell phone bill rather than having continued to stay with my old cell phone provider.
I have been a Republic Wireless customer for the past few years and can honestly say that I have been pretty happy with their service. I am still using the cell phone that I initially purchased through them and when I switched from my old cell phone provider to Republic Wireless I was able to keep my phone number.
